Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day. When we took the dogs out, all the dog spots were crowded with people. So we went on a search for a new spot and we found a great one.
Its in the forest where there were fires this summer and all the trees are scorched.
Lane played a game of catch the snowballs with the dogs…
and I got to worship the sun a little.
Move to a small town from a big city
live with your husband and his best friend- who have a business and are in their office together 24/7
add 15 feet of snow so you can’t even leave the house…
…and you’ve got a pretty severe case of cabin fever.
Luckily I have a large circus troupe of mutts to keep me entertained.

I was supposed to go away for two days with my friend Ruth for her birthday. We were going to go to a town called Murphys and stay in this really cute cottage. But the weather forced us to cancel the trip. So today instead of being able to tell you all the fun and exciting things we did- this post will be about MY TRIP TO TRADER JOES…
I am about ready for the snow to GO - AWAY- NOW.
I’m so over it.
These photos were taken enroute to Trader Joes, which by the way is a whole hour from our house…
Sure it’s pretty but that doesn’t make it suck any less.

Baby Shambles has a new obsession with sticks
It has not stopped snowing for two days. I think we’re up to 4 ft. or something like that. We went for a walk to try and go sledding but the snow was too fluffy.

I went outside to watch Lane use the snowblower and I felt like I was being “watched”
Sure enough The Knucklehead Association just had to see what all the commotion was….
Is using a snowblower against Association rules??
The dogs are actually pretty wimpy about the cold. I shouldn’t talk as I have been washing everything in the house just so I can run the dryer. It’s cold!
There is a dog bed in front of the heater and every day it is crammed full of dogs. They are always vying for the spot RIGHT up in front…like a rock concert.
On a different note…it’s ten cent listing day on Ebay and I’m selling just about everything I own. Including this very cute vintage bag fer bra and panties. Will it sell? We shall see!
Well it snowed last night and today I finally got to go exploring with the dogs in the marsh. Unfortunately, we spent about 20 minutes exploring and about 2 hours trying to get our car out from being stuck in the snow.
It got stuck on the deadend road where there is an entrance to the marsh- we just left it in the road and decided to deal with it AFTER we took a walk through the marsh.
And then back to dealing with why snow sucks..
I mostly let Lane deal with it while I took photos of Shambles with a scarf on.
I am sick and in bed with a fever so I did not get to go sledding today…..
